if it is pink eye, the eye would be all red and crusted over. if you have ever seen pink eye in a human, it looks the same. you can go to your local feed or supply store and they have this great spray for pink eye I can't remember off the top of my head exactly what it is called. but if you go in and ask, they should be able to help you.

It sounds to me though maybe just got poked in the eye, if she has a scrape on her ear that lines up with it??

Take a warm cloth (I like to use the disposable ones) and wipe her eye clean gently, and what we have done in the past if ours gets poked is just put simple sayline solution in it We have a lot of it around here because my husband is a contact wearer. We put it in a small spray bottle and just spray it in their eyes, so much easier than trying to put drops in. Keep an eye on it and see if it gets better. The sayline will knock out anything that might still be in her eye if she poked herself with a branch or something.

Watch for infection though, because if that is the case you will need some sort of antibiotic.
