Hi,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of the kids. some does have a really good "motherly instinct" and will readily want to nurse and care for their newborns. Others will not want anything to do with them at first, then some like my one doe will reject them. When that happens you can do as goatmom suggested. The trick is they NEED colestrum somewhere between the time of bith and the first 12 hrs. there is a colestrum substitute formula in my files somewhere, but you can probably find it here on this site too by doing a search. If they don't get colestrum they will die. I know how frustrating this must be for you, especially if you don't know a lot about goats. I have to run, need to leave for work, but will check back later. Take care.
Bernice
