Southern New England... Lets see.. easily over 100 again today (Heat Index) and a possible 115 tommorow. My hay field is trurning brown so no hopes of any more cuttings, the pastures are turing bare and I don't even remember having to feed out hay to my horses this early in the year. I've got all the animals outside due to the heat in my barn and even the young kids have a fan on part of their pen to keep air moving. Even my milker enjoyed getting hosed off this afternoon and she really is the kind of goat that melts when it rains.

Hopefully something breaks soon. All nearby farms are irrigating like crazy, and all the dent corn looks like crap in our part of the state. Its going to be an expensive winter for feed.
