I had another goat die today. She had the same thing as the boar whether. She was fine last night, then this morning she was standing off to herself, had signs of diarrea then at noon she died. I don't know what to do. They haven't varied from their diet (corn and show goat and hay) and they eat the same grass and trees as they have been for years. Does anybody have any idea what this could be? It kind of sneaks up on them cause that doe this morning went within 4 hours from the time I went outside to check up on them, to the time she died.
I haven't got any new goats in the herd, so it can't be that. It's like their diarrea is real dark, she was staggering around and finnally fell. Then, she kinda convulsed and she had a bowel movement and there was like pinkish balls in her poop. I hate to sound morbid or gross, I just want to give you as much information as I can. Has anyone had anything like this happen?
