How old is the doe, and is she milking? What type of grain are you feeding, and how much? Can you feel ribs, or the vertabre easily?

You can try to feed them both a high quality hay to keep that rumen in good health. I give underweight animals in my barn a chopped alfalfa that is bagged and called "Dengie." May be known as other things depending where you live.

Also, depending on what region of the country you live in, panacure really isn't an effective wormer. Can you get a fecal done at a vet's office, or do one yourself. There are good articles on this board on how to do them. It may be a good idea to contact other goat breeders in the area and determine what is working well.

One last thought - if you doe is milking, dry her off. If she is milking she could be putting all her body fat, ect into production and can't maintain herself. It is very hard to get weight back onto an animal during lactation.

Good Luck, I'm sure others on this board have more advice
