IF the boer folks could get passed the ear the best cross by far is the LaMancha/Boer. LaMancha's have more meat on the carcass period over Nubians, we have butchered both for years and LaMancha's have more meat, they also milk better for an extended period of time, are better mothers and have better temperments. We also find them to be hardier. (This all from a Nubian breeder) but like all things goat Nubians are more popular. If you are talking about breeding unregistered stock to boer than yes this will probably give you an animal that is worth more. But in breeding Boer into registered stock, it devalues the price you get for your doe kids, and now with the internet their sons, so I would be loosing money.
