Interesting you should mention getting it out. First I want to mention that I have used Pepto more than Imodium. Eveyone's herd manangement is different so i am not going to debate this. Pepto has worked well for us, however, i have not experienced a bad case of the "squirts" yet. I have several friends who give imodium. Will have to ask one as she is a vet tech and suggested it after we did our cocci treatment this spring with Co-Rid if any developed the squirts.
Now, for the comment about getting it out. i once read an article on treating the "squirts" and recall the author mentioning you need to give mineral oil to pass through and get out what is in the stomach. I'd never tried it, but it made sense after I stopped to think about the logic behind it. I don't even know where the article is now, but I think I might dig out my old files for "winter reading"
