Actually this is something that is desired amongst some of the Alpine breeders. I was told that mating a polled or hornless doe to a polled buck would give a hermodophide. Vicki's first goat, Hot Lips, think thats who it was, was a hermophidite.
i found this interesting: i was recently doing research on the alpine lines and discovered that in the 50's that the Laural woods herd had several bucks and does with "p" next to their reg #'s, that means polled, so what Vicki mentioned is accurate then. I will have to research this in more details. I If anyone is interested just e-mail me and that will remind me and I can send the pedigree information on those goats involved.
