I know what you mean Karen. I have a 11 going on 12 yr old and it is hard not letting her do the things we did when we were kids. She is wanting to have her girl friends over for a campout, but we cannot put them in the camping area across the stream so they will be staying in the horse pasture closest to the house and have to take the dog, he is very protective of her and all kids so it gives me a little consolation. It makes me mad that our children have to grow up in fear and wariness of others.
