healing properties of goats' milk

Shalom from Israel!
In our country it is common knowledge that all types of mouth sores and ulcers, especially in children, can be treated by squirting fresh goat's milk right from the udder into the child's mouth. In fact, it is so common for doctors to send their patients to look for goat milk sources, that most goat farmers consider it a "good deed" to freely supply milk for this purpose and do so without hesitation.
I would like to know what other "healing powers" goat milk is known for and what, if any, scientific research has been published on this. subject anywhere in the world.
