Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know my weather is doing great today! His hole closed up, AND I found a vet who has goats for pets. She did a great job with him. His temp was 104.8 so he's on Nexcel<1/2cc X2daily for 10 days>. Unfortunately, "I" have to inject it. My poor, sweet goat is now terrified of me. You'd think I was killing the poor thing with all the screaming he does. I'm a medical lab tech, and was always proud of my ability to use a needle......not anymore. :( Is there an oral antibiotic I could use instead? This little guy was always the one who loved to sit on my lap and fall asleep. I'm afraid of ruining that. The little doe has always been easily frightened, and it took a month to get her to eat out of my hand. Would anyone have any suggestions on how to tame her a bit more?.......Yikes! I just meant to say thanks......ended up writing a book. lol
