I believe your vet didn't return your call because they didn't know much about goats. I am haveing a hard time here in Ct finding a vet for my goat. Plenty for horses and small animals, but not any around for livestock. Ther are a lot of good books around, and this website is great as far as a lot of info in one place. Good luck with your babies.
