Welcome Audrey glad to meet ya.. I have all my kids disbudded by 2 ½ weeks old, the one's that are going to have horns but haven’t experienced the capps coming off early or leaving a hole so I can’t be of much help on that, but sounds like you have the problem under control. Enjoy them while they are little , but the affection they give last a life time. They are amazing critters. Sandy & Kids
