I read with interest the loving posts regarding the great pyr, earlier in the week. Then yesterday I read a great article about a great pyr in Good Housekeeping. This wonderful animal is not guarding livestock....she keeps watch over a little girl with cancer. If after reading the article you don't come away with respect for this great animal, you never will. If you get a chance, try and read it. It is very touching.~Mary
