Gary,
Thanks again for responding to my question. This is very helpful information.
I'm wondering...what are the benefits of maintaining a 100% Full Blood Boer herd to a herd of percentages? Does it make that big of a difference in the meat market? I'm sure it does when it comes to selling breeding or show stock. Any advice on this? I've located someone in our town who has full blood SA Boers but he wants an arm and a leg for them!! How much is too much? When I told my husband he nearly fainted!! :o)
Thanks for your time!
