Thanks Linda.
It was the hottest day of the year hear in South Florida yesterday and I am thinking that had a lot to do with it. I moved the mom and kid to a cooler area with a nice breeze, (and no flies!)
The poop is still yellow and it clumps up under his tail. It was very hard when I pulled it off, but not poop consistency, more like rubber cement. Anyway, I thought maybe it was taking too much energy to nurse, Mom is inexperienced. I milked her and have been bottle feeding him to make sure he is eating. He took to the bottle real quick. He is up and moving around today. His owners will be home tomorrow. (THANK GOD!) I am watching him closely and will get the stuff if he doesn't show improvement by the end of today. Thanks again for your help!
