I am fairly certain he is polled. If he is polled his hair will be straight instead of swirled over where the horn will erupt. The only consideration is not to breed a polled animal to a polled animal(in goats that is) because you are very likely to end up with a hermaphrodite kid. That is one that has both male and female reproductive body parts and is sterile. Some people like to have a polled buck because they throw a lot of polled babies and therefore do not have to have the kids disbudded Dalice
