Great News....My friend found the little baby. I feel soooooo much better. While we were together yesterday, we also noticed that one of her other goats was in labor. Unfortunately, I had to go home, so I wasn't there for the blessed event :(. Well, she got in touch with me last night, and the doe delivered twins (boy and girl). While the goat was screaming in labor, she heard a little cry coming from the yard. She followed the cry out to this little tiny lean-too, and there was the missing baby. He had been gone for most of the day. You guys were right...you really have to hunt for them! I always thought that a baby goat would stay with their mom, and if mommy called, they would call back. I guess I learned somthing today, and I'm thankful for the lesson.
