If your goat is a pygmy or nigerian it is not unusual for them to have kids earlier than the larger swiss breeds. My nigerians usually go 145-147 days. Sorry I diddn't get on here earlier to answer your question. I usually check the moms teats and if there still is a waxy plug in them I know that the babies didn't get anything from her. You can also tell by feeling the babies bellies, if they feel soft and mushy like that means they didn't eat either, they should feel a little round and tight if they have nursed. Also, just watch closely and if they act ike their batteries are running down that means they didn't get it either. Hope this helps, Dalice
