I hope everything turned out ok. We are in the same boat here. No vet that knows anything about goats. A person needs to be sure the nanny cleans good. If not that can be a real problem. If she keeps straining, that could mean she didn't clean or maybe she has a dead baby yet. Please let us know how you turned out. Goats are fun but can be complicated for even people that has had them 25 years like we have. New problems seem to develop that even I don't know how to handle. So I guess everyone is pretty new at the game of goats.
