Bucky question

I am a first time buck owner. I got my little guy in May of 2001. I noticed today that his "aroma" was quite potent. It was a warmer day today-actually got up to 50-yeehaa. Now I am wondering.....do bucks "aroma" get stronger as they get older, or was is just the spring thaw that melted stuff up? Just wondering what I am in for over the summer.
