I have two Pyrenees and I would never be without them. My two have together killed a coyote. I do not agree with the point that they can not be made as a pet. Mine are the best with the goats as us. They are loved and played with like any other dog. They too have a favorite dog downt he road. It is a Cocker spaniel. My female Pyrenees always alerts me to a doe in labor. She wants to be right there and whines while the doe kids. Two days ago when my Pyrenees gave birth to her litter of pups all the does stood at the gate to her pen to check on her. These dogs are worth their weight in gold in my book!
