That separate pen sounds like a good idea. I have heard or read that the Gr Pyr. are late maturers. THey are really out of the puppy stage untilthey are 2 1/2 yrs. or so. That means both of us have a year and a half to go with our dogs. My Lily is a chewer. I have left the garden hose in her pen twice, accidently and she has it in a million pieces by the next morning. She knows she was bad, by the way she looks at me, but those little puppy teeth just can't help it!!!!!! Dalice
