The kids came in the house all upset. Molly's eyes were clouded over and pink--said she had alien eyes. Called the neighbor, and said it sounded like pinkeye. Molly is now in the dark corner of the barn. I've given her 3 shots penicillin (6cc)--full size saanen. And have been spraying her eyes with gentocin (gentamicin sulfate, usp). Tommorrow will be her 3rd day. How long does this take to see results? Or do you have any better drugs to use. I now know that pinkeye in goats are caused by flys. It's Aug. in Wisconsin, and the flys get bad. HELP!
Thanks Jane
