i loved my pygmy; but hated to lose him

i'd like to start out by saying-Thank You everyone in this chat- also Thank You Gary for starting GoatWorld. you all have been very helpful-i was a new goat owner-my 1st was an 8wk wethered: dehorned beautiful guy -- i got him all his shots-correct food/hay/shelter- but my baby died -after surgery, Tues.-UC was the culprit- Surgery for me was the only way- i couldn't put him down--Casey came when i called; slept in my arms; stayed in the kitchen when it rained(and because i wanted it that way). I loved it when he wagged his tail when he saw me-- i miss him soooo much-- i'd like to get another one or two- but i still have so much to learn- i'm afraid to fail another. i just wanted to share my lose with you all-thanks again PS i will try again w/experience on my side
