Thanks guys, the bump was first noticed just before nationals when I was doing my final body clip. It was hard to notice - kinda looked like maybe a swollen gland if that makes any sense. That was umm.. July... end of July anyway. Now, middle of Aug, its grown. No hair loss, or real change in consistency except growth.
She's a Toggenburg, 4-yrs old. No allergic reatcions I know of... I was reading up on CL in Goat Medicine and it was saying that CL has to enter the body from a wound, and then travels to a lymph gland and takes up resisdence. Well, if well remember about my earlier posts - she had a good udder gash about 2-3 weeks prior to nationals if I remember right...
Hopefully I'm getting worried about nothing. The vet will be out Wednesday and then we'll know.
If it is CL, is it possible to keep the rest of the herd CL free? or do I have to cull her?
-Thanks everyone
