My message fell off last night when the board was down for 20 minutes revising, but I had posted to advocate for getting the little guy a companion, since they are herd animals and will be very lonely without a buddy to play with. You are his herd now, but it may not be so cute when he starts jumping on everything that you own and then he'll be stuck in the barn all by himself for periods of time.
Incidentally, one of my friends who had to bring a goatkid into the house for some weeks used Pampers/Huggies with a hole cut out for the tail to poke through to keep it clean and to keep the diaper from sliding off!
