I too wait until they are almost 2 yrs old before they will kid. the reason i do this is because I have had bad experiences in the past with breeding young does at 70-100 pounds. In my humble opinion they just don't do as well and i feel they can get stunted. Also, keep in mind that if your doe is part Alpine, and this can be true in othe rbreeds as well, there are some slow maturing lines. I have seen doe kids that looked small for the first 18 months of their lives then take off and do well. I think the best advice is if you don't want to feed another year due to cost effectivness then probably sell her. however, if you can keep her and if you feel she has potentioal then she may be worth keeping. but my thinking is from how you described her probably not.
