What do you all do with the loose powder that is left after they pick out the grains? I keep mixing it back in and it seems to get eaten but my girl is real good at picking out those grains with those big lips, or is it the teeth! Sometimes I end up dumping it. And how much feed is enough? I let her eat till she is done, oh about 8 measuring cups twice a day, sometimes it seems like more but some ends up in that powder. She milks about 2 qts/2x's/day but have seen more. Is there a point when the goat does not put off more milk and the rest is waste. Someone told me they will put out milk according to how much fed, which makes sense.
