What is it about those Alpines??? :o)
Alpines cleaned up the ribbons at the county fair-4H goat shows that I visited on Fri too.
I am packing up the last minute items for our tack box this morning (5:30 am) to take our four dairy goat project kids to our own county fair...(a LaMancha, A Saanen, two Togg/Ober twins) So, I am "nervously excited" for my children. I am also concerned (read:MAD) as the goat pens seem to be an afterthought!!!!!!!!!! We are in the Sheep Barn and got stuck against an open wall on the side the weather comes in on. We are expecting rain - some heavy today, too!
We'll take tarps...but I am going to pitch a fit if our pens and critters get wet and blown on.
