Bran is fine, as are most things horse. The problem with goats and especially wethers comes in the form of change. Change in the way of a switch in feeds, getting into the whole container of feeds, and in withers to much protein. Wethers are excellent companions for horses, and make sure and be worming them right along with the horse, just use about twice the amount for their weight, so if they weigh 100 pounds, use the 200 pound dosage on the horse wormer.
