Hi every one .NOW here is something I'm an expert on .HORNS. Their like fire crackers, you never know when their going to go off. I was gouged In the knee about 4 weeks ago. I still cant walk very well!! I was in the milk room when 2 girls decided I was giving the other one to much attention. She goes, slam dunk.It hurt so bad I could'nt eaven cuse. I didnt eaven see who did it. The horns are what did the damage . Now let me say, I also have hornless . They fight, But A lot less danger of getting hurt. The boys with horns will be castrated by the vet.As for the girls Thier horns are tiny in comparason to the boys and I can still band them. Next kidding ,You can bet the farm I'm burning horn buds. The reason I didnt do it last season is I didnt have any help . There are several web sites that have wonderful directions with pictures.Buy the hotest and best iron they have or you could end up with scures, that come from improper heat and burning. You will need a kidding box. hubby or you can make one or buy one on the net.In fact I'm real new to computers And I'm scareing my self at all the things I can find on search, on the net,or this forum. Hope I'm not boreing anyone?? But I do love talking about my goats. [SORRY ] goat mom
