Have you ever thought about building a creep feeder? What I've done in the past when kids are in with the big guys is build a little temporary holding pen out of hog/cattle pannels and added a gate to the front. The gate has openings that are only big enough for the kids to fit through. I can keep grain and hay inside the creep for the kids only, and it offers a place of refuge if the playing gets a little too rough between the older and younger ones. Be sure that it's secured well or those "poor starving does" will try to get in and eat it all up :-)
Good Luck! The little ones grow up fast!
