Hi Karen,
Sounds like you had some fun there with your Billy or should I say, sounds like he had some fun. I'm curious, does Reptar have horns? Our Billy, who we just call Billy for lack of a better name or laziness on our part of naming, is a Boer and boy is he ripe at this time of year! He's usually not too aggressive either but now that he's in rut, he is acting up a bit more than his usual, loveable self. He's so big, I'm guesstimating somewhere around 250, that the only way I can lead him around is by the horns. He doesn't like it much, but grudgingly he will allow himself to be led.
The funny thing about it is now that he is in rut, he goes through all the motions and does the lip curl (flaring) thing - kind of showing off for friends and visitors. I have one friend that has never really thought much about goats... he shows up and there is Billy flaring and looking him right in the eye. I told him, "Billy likes you. He likes you alot!" Well, now my friend really doesn't like goats.
Oh, the Billy cologne, yes, it really does have a distinct odor. I can smell Billy from 50 feet away he's that odiferous.
Best regards,
Gary
