Here's the easiest one I have (but note that I have not tried ice cream yet)
4 cups cream
1 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
Warm 1 c cream ,stir in salt and sugar until disolved.Chill. Add other 3 c of cream put in ice cream freezer and proceed.
(this is from Raising Milk Goats the Modern Way by Jerry Belanger)I can get some cream from the tops of my jars but not enough. I am looking for a manuel cream separater.
Fias Co Farm has great recipes on their site,as does Saneendoah.I have made the Fias Co Fram yogurt recipe about 20 times used it to make cream cheese this morning and I ma making sour cream today.
