Goat with enlarged knee and limping
Posted by Sandy on May 10, 2001 at 06:13:39:
Hi everyone, I have a doe that has begun to protect her back hind leg. She is only using 3 legs. The fourth is the one she is protecting. I checked her feet and no problems, and within the last 2 hours her knee has swallon. I also checked her hip, I thought that this is where the problem originated and couldn't find anyh problems. Could this be a sprain? Should I give her an anti-inflamatory (banemine) or wait it out and see if she gets better. I did feel the knee and it doesn't appear to be broke. Thanks Sandy
