Another baby with diareaha
Posted by Denise T. on April 26, 2001 at 05:18:46:
Well remember just last week that I posted that I had a goat that had diareaha and had contacted a vet. I went in last week on Wednesday and gave all symptoms to the vet because he was busy and couldn't stop out. he gave me a sulfer antibiotic. Gave the kid one pill that night and then one morning and night Thursday, Then Friday morning when Maria went to feed and give medicine she found him dead. was an awful thing!! I never had them get that sick and die!!! These are our 4-H goats. The vet finally came that afternoon and looked at the other two and said they really weren't sick but gave them some kind of shot and gave her the med. to give another shot in 48 hours. I had to go out of town for the weekend. Well we noticed that last night our other nice little boy has a touch of diareaha and I am worried sick. I have a sample to take to the vets office to see if they can test it to find out what is wrong. What I can't figure out is that only one gets it. the other one is fine so far. what could be going on? does anyone think that the hay is to strong for them it is second cutting or is there someting else we should check on?? I can't loose another one!!
