I have a herd of ~50 Boer goats and they all run together the majority of the time. I have never had a problem with them kidding together. I have had as many as 4 or 5 kid the same day with no problem. I had one exception to this about a year ago, but it was an unusual incident. I had two does that kidded the same day, side by side at about the same time. One of the does had complications and lost both of her kids. She got confused and tried to adopt the kids that were born to the other doe. Of course the kids loved it. They had two mamas. It was the strangest sight, these two kids nursed both does. The two does didn't seem to mind sharing these two kids, so they were just one BIG happy family. I quess you could say that it was one of those "same sex" marriages. They did a great job, the kids grew like weeds and never had any problems.
