Well, the kids are doing ok. On closer inspection tonight I realized that the little runty doe kid has really poor conformation - from her maternal side. I guess I was a little "farm blind" and assumed that everything was put together ok. She's very sickle hocked, and has long pasterns besides being absolutely tiny. I think this is where her weak stance, and movement comes from. She's the size of a kitten, and really dosn't compaire to her larger brother.

The buck is doing good. His conformation is ok, and he's moving about well. Too bad he's black - an unregisterable color for the male Oberhasli. I guess in this situation its my first lesson on "keep and cull." The doe may make a good back yard pet, ect. but she has no place in the breeding world.

Thanks to everyone who commented. She'll definatly survive from the looks of things, and the way she eats. I'll look into the Selinium issues, but don't think it is a contributing factor at this point.
