We just purchased two Boer mix does that had been ear tagged. I say, "had been" because the tags have been ripped from their ears. One now had a round notch out of the bottom of her ear, while the other's ear is split from the hole where the tag was all the way to the bottom; the split is so long she looks like she has two ears on that side.
We will opt for tatooing.
