In our Do It Yourself (DIY) Section, you will find links to articles, pictures and tips and tricks to make your building experiences easier and more fun  to tackle – either by yourself or with the help of friends and family.  Using this gallery is an easy way to see some of the many DIY projects to be found on GoatWorld.com. The main things you will need to begin any project is patience with yourself, tools and supplies as needed, and a goal in mind – what do you plan to do with your project? Do you need it or want it just because…?  Once you have a plan in mind, just follow the instructions offered in each project and go for it.  Building can be fun, useful and safe if you are careful with your time, money and planning skills. 

Many projects shown here were listed by Gary Pfalzbot – Goatworld’s owner and webmaster or were submitted by other Goatworld.com members for you to use free by following the instructions listed in the project articles.  Just click on the pictures shown below to go to the article that goes with the photo you click on.  Simply follow the instructions or, depending upon your existing skill level, use the articles to come up with your own version of whatever you are looking for to build for your goats.  If you have a project you would like to share on Goatworld.com for this DIY section, simply contact Gary to submit it for approval.  The project must be free for our members to use and list all materials required to build it, as well as including easy to understand instructions and photos.  Email Gary:  gary@goatworld.com with your project ideas.

Remember to be patient with yourself if you are a beginner working with either hand tools or power tools.  Your goats will try to help – always keep them safely away from your tools and materials while building!   The more you learn, the more ideas will come to you for new projects and, of course, you can check back here to see what is new to DIY or what is available in our Goatworld Store to go with your projects.
