Hi, My name is Linda Flanagan together my husband Pat and I raise Fullblood Boers and percentages. We have been doing it for about 3 years now. It all started when my dad called me one afternoon and told me to come over and see his new herd. I asked him what he had bought and he told me he purchased about 40 head of goats. Ok I'm an open minded person but on the way over there I was seriously thinking, " is it time for them to go to the nursing home"? Well needless to say as soon as I saw them I fell in love with them and have been hooked ever since. We started out with all percentages and now we have both. We have purchased 2 Fullblood bucks for our breeding program and have been more than happy with the kids. We have 5 Fullblood does and 16 percentage does. Our herd was larger but we sold over half the herd this summer and will build it back up again. Can't wait to see the little ones hit the ground. Our farm is located in Southwest Minnesota, the winters can be a challenge at times but would never think of living anyhwere else. We live about 5 miles from the town of Pipestone. If you would have any questions our inquire about our goats please feel free to email us.
I just can't forget to mention my children. We have 3 girls and 1 boy, Kristi 20, Kayla 18, Brandi 15, and Steve 13. The 2 youngest ones really help out when it comes to vaccinating and hoof trimming, and the oldest ones help out when we want to get away for a day or two they will do chores and keep an eye on things. I am truely blessed to have such a great family. We also have 4 dogs, yes 4, they are 2 German Shepards Tykie and Teaka, then there's Harley he is a Bassett Hound, and last but not least my husbands baby Jenna she is a mixed breed (heinz 57). My nickname as a child was Windy so I'd better not go on any more. Please check back with us again as we will be adding more pictures of our goats and other pets.
