Born: Unknown Age: 2 Years + Type: British Alpine ?? Color: Charcoal & White |
"Mimi" was purchased from the same family where we purchased Whylee in 2000. She had just thrown a set of twins that were weaned. Her markings are very similar to a Toggenburg though we were told that she is "thought" to be a French Alpine mix. Mimi kidded in November 2000 - a buck we named Baltazar who is nearly identical in markings.
Wanting to keep the British Alpine line going at our farm, we are attempting to breed Mimi back to Baltazar. I'll post the results when they are available. Mimi has warmed up to us considerably and has a very "smart" look about her. I will be out working on the fence or something and she will come over and stand there with a very inquisitive look about her. She definitely has a personality all her own and tends to stay with Baltazar instead of the other goats. |
