Mary is large and in charge but pretty manageable disposition wise, that is, if she's not trying to get out of the goat pen!

We purchased Mary and her kid Alpha together from the same man who sold us many of our other first goats. Mary has a definite personality of her own but is very friendly with humans. She's also a very good mother and has even been milking our two pygmies Dante and Cosmo. The big problem with Mary is that despite being a goat that weighs in over 150 pounds or so, she can jump at least four feet over a fence and does so on a daily basis at will. Once she's out, she's on a grain raid. No keeping this one tied as she's not only broken the ropes, she's broken the metal latches as well! But we love her all the same.....some of the time.
