Welcome to GoatWorld.ComThis site was a present to me from my wife for Valentine's Day 2000. You can imagine my surprise when I found she had gotten it setup and ready for use without me knowing about it. I've got to admit I was a bit surprised, but somewhat concerned as well. Afterall, we are very much newcomers to the goat business (1 year) and have relied upon many others for information.

I can't stress enough the fact that there are alot of great goat sites already out there, many of which we will recommend here, simply because the people who own them know alot more about goats than we do and for the most part, are very nice and sincere. But at the same time, since I do know about building websites and bringing people with like interests together, such as I have done with my Music Monster Network site, I would like to make GoatWorld.com as comprehensive a site as possible - a community place where all types of "goat people" can visit, share their ideas and experiences with others, help one another out and even conduct business if they like. Please feel free to visit often and share with others your own goat-related knowledge and experience.

If this site saves the life of one goat who would have otherwise died needlessly due to neglect or uncertainty about their care, then it will accomplish exactly what it is intended for.
