Worms & Parasites
by Gary Pfalzbot
About the Author

Worms and Parasites are a seemingly, never-ending problem for goat owners the world over. Since the subject of worms and parasites is directly responsible for the health of a goat, and can often be somewhat controlled by the nutritional needs of a goat, it is suggested you look at these sections as well. Keeping your goats as worm and as parasite free as possible should be the goal of every goat owner. Understanding how to worm your goats is very important. Certain wormers have proven effective over time - certain wormers have become ineffective over time (worms can build up a resistance to wormers rendering the wormer less effective). It is highly suggested that you learn as much as possible about the subject of worming - a very good place to start is at the National Library of Medicine which contains a great amount of information.
