Marketing

About the Author

Marketing covers the sale and purchase of goats in a broad sense. Since a large variety of goats and their use exists, this section will try to cover each group of goats; Meat Goats, Dairy Goats, etc. For the most part, there are many ways to buy or sell goats and this section will also focus on this as well - from buying and selling between private parties, to the buying and selling at auctions and animal swap meets. There will also be sub-topics of marketing discussed as well such supply and demand. For more in-depth research into marketing, I suggestthat you also refer to the "For A Purpose" section as well.

Below is a listing of various USDA sanctioned markets/auctions across the nation. Please note that due to the volatile commodities market, some of these auctions may appear to be offline or randomly updated. I will try to keep the list as current as possible.
