Patti,
If you haven't done so already, you should wash, lubricate your hands and have a feel inside the doe. It is likely that 24 hours after the second kid, she either has another dead one or a retained placenta. If you feel another kid, you may be able to help. It you don't feel anything, then the situation is well past what the average lay person can manage without a vet's assistance.

My guess would be the placenta. She possibly had hypocalsemia, or ketosis, she needs cmpk and propylene glyserol asap

I sent this via the e-mail request but wanted to try and get faster assistance. Here is the issue. My Doe 2 years old kidded for the first time Monday night/Tues. a.m.at 3:30. baby born in the upside down position as was dead. A second baby was born 8 hrs later in the breech position and was dead. Now 24 hrs later since last baby. Mom has diarrhea, not eating, not on her feet. When I sent e-mail to request forum, I saw occasional contractions every 20 min or so. Now she is having very strong contractions every 2 or 3 minutes. Could she possibly have a 3rd dead baby that she has not been able to deliver?
