If you have banamine give that for pain and swelling at 1 cc per 100 pounds (0.1 cc per 10 pounds) by SQ injection once or twice a day for 2 to 3 days. You can also give luquid children's motrin at 1 cc per 10 pounds every 4 to 6 hours for pain and swelling. Relieving the pain may give him back his appetite.

You might offer a thin oatmeal he can slurp up or if you feed a pelleted feed you can soak that into a slurry too. Forcing him to eat will make the jaw even more sore as you pry his mouth open.

If he is not better in 24 hours call the vet.

My 4 month old kid broke a fence to go play with the donkey. Donkey bites and now Crichet' s face is swollen on one side and he is in pain!He has signs of being bitten on his face. He is able to drink but has refused food, just lyes next to mom and cries occassionally. He is walking to get water but very slowly, very sore. This happened 3-19 around 10 am. If I need to force feed him what do I feed ? I will call a vet if needed.
