You may have held the iron on too long and caused her brain to swell. I recommend getting some dexamethazone from the vet ASAP to help reduce the swelling in her brain.

You really do need to be very careful disbudding and never hold the iron on more than 5 to 7 seconds. If you don't burn the horn bud enough on the first try let the area cool some and go back.

We have a 5 day old goat that is 11 pounds. She was given her CDT shot this evening and then de-horned. While she was being de-horned, she got limp and went into shock. She was given epinephrine and she seemed fine. Now, and hour later, she is crying out and is walking in an uncoordinated fashion. What would you suggest? We appreciate any help you can give.
